Tia T. Rowe

Tia Rowe is an Associate Attorney at NLG who has dedicated her legal career to serving families across the Tampa Bay area. Practicing since 2019, Tia works closely with all of the firm’s partners on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and complex legal research and drafting. Known for her persistence and work ethic, Managing Partner Seth Nelson describes her as “a dog with a bone”—tireless and tenacious in her advocacy for clients.

Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Tia is passionate about guiding people through difficult transitions with empathy and clarity. She finds purpose in helping clients navigate the legal system and works hard to provide support at every stage of a case, from initial consults to final resolution.

Tia earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in Communication and Philosophy from Florida Gulf Coast University, where she was a Presidential Scholar and received the Outstanding Commitment to Sustainability Award. She went on to earn her J.D., summa cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law, where she earned five Jurisprudence Awards and served on the International Law Review.

During law school, Tia worked with Legal Services of South Central Michigan, helping clients facing domestic violence, elder abuse, and housing insecurity. After passing the bar, she served as a judicial clerk at the Florida Second District Court of Appeal, a prestigious role that sharpened her legal writing and deepened her understanding of appellate practice.

Outside the office, Tia enjoys freediving, beach days, and supporting the Tampa Bay Humane Society. She lives in Pasco County and is active in the New Port Richey community, including local initiatives such as the New Port Richey FarmNet and Ecology Florida.
