Meet Kayla
Kayla was born and raised in New Jersey but always had her heart set on sunny Florida. From a young age, she knew she wanted to pursue her education in the Sunshine State, and in 2021, she made the leap—transitioning from a Florida college student to a full-time Florida resident.
Kayla earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminology & Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from the University of Tampa, where she graduated Cum Laude. Her undergraduate experience was marked by a deep commitment to academic excellence and campus involvement. She was a founding member of the sorority Delta Phi Epsilon, a proud member of Alpha Phi Sigma (The Criminal Justice Honor Society) and Alpha Kappa Delta (The Sociology Honor Society), and part of the Success Scholars Program, which recognized her achievements as a first-generation college student. Kayla balanced her involvement with working on campus, making the most of her college years both personally and professionally.
In her free time, Kayla enjoys visiting Disney, relaxing at the beach, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and her dog. Her energy, determination, and love for learning continue to guide her as she builds her career in the legal field.
